Just a reminder-All union members, left leaning citizens, progressives, etc: bigg's is still under boycott for illegal activity during a union organizing drive. They fired union supporters, tape-recorded coversations illegally, harassed employees, etc. bigg's was found guilty of breaking federal labor law and needs to be held accountable. DO NOT SHOP BIGG'S!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, can you point us to some info on this? I'm not finding word one when I google 'biggs boycott' or 'biggs union'.
ReplyDeletetry nlrb and bigg's. bigg's managers and the company were found guilty on all charges.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I found biggsworkers.com (run by UFCW 1099), and while it looks like there definitely was a problem in 2001, I'm still seeing nothing about a boycott.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a bigg's shopper myself, but if I were I'd want to know most of the employees of my local biggs were asking me to support it.
