Woodstone Creek's Straight Bourbon Whiskey Debuts at Party Source

Woodstone Creek's Straight Bourbon Whiskey, made locally in Norwood at Ohio's first microdistillery, will debut tonight at the Party Source's Craft Spirit Tasting event in Covington.

Woodstone Creek is the first Ohio-made aged bourbon released since 1865. Bottles will be labeled with barrel number in limited edition releases one barrel at a time. Barrel #1 bottle #1 will be auctioned off September 6th at Gourmet Sensation to benefit Hospice of Cincinnati.

Based on the quality of Woodstone Creek's Vodka, I intend to find a bottle soon.

Wish I would have seen this post sooner- I went to the Christian Moerlein keg tapping for the Oktoberfest Marzen instead.

Thanks for the info on this bourbon. I'm gonna check it out.

Bummer on my bad timing! I was still digging out from an overload of vacation email and didn't find their announcement until now!

Valerie, the Party Source premiere of our bourbon went so well their inventory was cleaned out! I'd recommend folks call ahead to verify availability.

John, yeah, my husband works downtown and hits Party Source a couple times a month to check out their microbrews.
