It's a clever concept. But in reality, lettuce DOES have lobbyists. Several. And there are loads of influence peddlers from the fruit industry and nut growers. So while these pyramids are intriguing, they really DON'T reveal much about political influence.
We generally stay strictly away from politics except as they directly involve food. However: this blog supports marriage rights for all.
