how was it? i wanted to go but had to work in the garden!
Emily, unfortunately I was out of town! I heard good things, though! Maybe someone will report back!
The meeting went well. There were a lot of people there representing a lot of different community organization. The range of topics discussed was also pretty impressive. I was particularly struck by a little lady named Clair Whelen who has worked in Indiana doing a lot of really great stuff on her farm. She now sells locally grown food to Christ Hospital
Andy, thanks! I don't think I know Clair Whelen -- sound pretty interesting!
Sorry I spelled her name incorrectly. She is Sister Claire Whalen and she works for the Food and Growers Association of the Laughery Valley and Environs.
